Psychedelic Country Sludge

Kansas City MO

Buzzard Fight are a 3-piece, Psychedelic Country Sludge band from Kansas City, MO.

You may be asking yourself, "What the hell is Psychedelic Country Sludge?" Well, their unique brand of sludge fuses bone crunching riffs, country slap and twang and plenty of psychedelic substances  to create songs that take you on journeys through lands of nightmares, mayhem, aliens and the occasional sasquatch encounter.

The band formed in early 2022 as a collection of seasoned musicians from the local KC music scene. The boys come from a wide variety of genres with the mission to play the music they wanted to hear.  Their heavy, chickin' pickin' style comes from  members playing in bluegrass, alt country, folk punk, hardcore, doom and thrash bands over the years.  .

Along with regional touring, Buzzard Fight has been the local support for genre defining touring bands, opening for Bongzilla, The Obsessed (Wino), Twin Wizard, Telekinetic Yeti, Firebreather (Sweden), Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol, Ape Vermin, Gorgatron and Dopethrone among others. They have played several National Festivals including Grand Rapids Doom Fest, Fecht Fest, Walk This Earth, Holler of Doom and The Midwest Doom Coalition Fest.  They have been featured on Doom Charts, Doomed Nation, numerous local publications and have been featured on several broadcasts and podcasts including Mr Doom 666, Rob Hammer, Weedian, and Hour of the Riff.
